Dr. David Fishbaugh is a native of Alma, Michigan. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University in1984. He graduated from the University of Detroit’s School of Dentistry in 1988, receiving his D.D.S. degree. In July of 1988, he was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force. He spent his first year in service continuing his dental education in a post-doctoral general practice residency program as Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. While stationed at Comiso Air Station in Sicily, Dr. Fishbaugh realized his most satisfying experiences in dentistry revolved around treating children. He is proud to have served in the Air Force for four years and was honorably discharged in 1992.

Dr. Fishbaugh received his Certificate of Training in pediatric dentistry from Columbus Children’s Hospital as well as his Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University. During his studies at Ohio State, he completed nationally recognized research involving the conscious sedation of children. He a member of numerous professional and dental organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
